By default, KeepChallengeIt collects nothing. Your daily challenges, streak, and history are stored only on your device, using Apple's on-device SwiftData and standard iOS storage. Aguach1leLabs does not operate a server, and there is no account or login — we never receive or store your data.
If you choose to invite someone to a challenge, that challenge's title, metric, and the values you and your friend log are synced through Apple's CloudKit (your and their own iCloud account) so you can both see the head-to-head comparison. This only happens for a challenge you explicitly share — everything else in the app stays on-device. Aguach1leLabs has no server of its own and never sees this data; it moves directly between the participating iCloud accounts via Apple's infrastructure.
If you tap “Get a code instead,” the app saves three things in its public iCloud (CloudKit) database so your friend can type the code: the 6-character code, the challenge's title, and the private iCloud link to the shared challenge. Anyone who has the code can see the title. The code stops working after 24 hours. This record is the only data the app keeps outside your device and your friends' iCloud accounts. It is not linked to your name or Apple Account and is never used for tracking.
KeepChallengeIt is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
