SharedNapkin — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

SharedNapkin collects nothing. Aguach1leLabs does not operate a server, and there is no account or login — we never receive or store your data.

How sketching with someone nearby works

When you invite someone nearby to a live sketch, your strokes travel directly to their device over Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework — a peer-to-peer connection over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, discovered locally via Bonjour. Nothing goes through the internet or through any Aguach1leLabs server; the connection only exists between the two (or more) nearby devices while you're sketching together.

Handwriting recognition

Turning a scribbled note into text uses Apple's on-device Vision framework. The image never leaves your phone for this — recognition happens entirely locally.

What we don't do

Children's privacy

SharedNapkin is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
